EPoS & e-commerce technology company, Cybertill, has revealed that it has installed a point-of-sale solution for Norwich-based leisure company, BeWILDerwood.
BeWILDerwood opened 2 years ago and is a 50-acre, forest-based adventure park for children. It attracted 160,000 visitors in 2008. Earlier this year, it won the coveted Themed Entertainment Association (TEA) global award for the best budget theme park.
Cybertill has teamed up with its partner, Open Frontiers, to provide an integrated customer sales & management solution. Open Frontiers’ Time Pursuit leisure management software drives online advanced bookings, gate admissions and customer control. Cybertill, for its part, has provided specialist software to manage the point-of-sale till operations in the retail outlet and at the walk-in admission booths.
Cybertill has also supplied PC-based touchscreen tills as part of its solution, in collaboration with its partner ScanSource Europe. AnyPlace Kiosk tills from IBM are BeWILDerwood’s selected hardware platform.
Explains BeWILDerwood’s CEO, Simon Egan: “We like the instant business visibility that Cybertill gives us. With real-time performance monitoring, accessible remotely, I can monitor visitor numbers, view retail sales and manage stock wherever I am. That gives me real control.”

The BeWILDerwood experience starts with a boat journey into the woods, where children can play amongst tree houses and jungle hides, and let their imagination run wild.
