The Role

As the Head of Finance & HR at Cybertill, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial health of the company and cultivating a positive and productive work environment. You will lead both the Finance and Human Resources departments, ensuring effective financial management, compliance, talent acquisition, employee development, and overall organisational well-being.

What you will do…

Financial Leadership

  • Develop and execute the financial strategy aligned with the company’s goals and objectives.
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting to provide accurate insights for strategic decision-making.
  • Manage cash flow, working capital, and financial risk to ensure the company’s fiscal health.
  • Drive financial efficiency and cost optimization initiatives across the organisation.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to assess financial performance and recommend actions for improvement.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement within Finance.
  • Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Regularly assess the effectiveness of financial processes, making adjustments as needed.

Compliance and Governance

  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and tax requirements.
  • Oversee internal controls, audits, and risk management processes to safeguard company assets.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in financial regulations and HR laws, adjusting policies and practices as needed.
  • Prepare and present financial statements and reports to the executive team and board of directors.

Human Resources Management

  • Lead the Human Resources team to implement best practices and ensure a positive employee experience.
  • Oversee talent acquisition, recruitment, and onboarding processes to attract and retain top-tier talent.
  • Develop and execute strategies for employee engagement, retention, and career development.
  • Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions when necessary.
  • Administer compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness and compliance.
  • Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives to foster a diverse and welcoming workplace.

Strategic Planning

  • Contribute to the development of the company’s overall strategic plan and goals.
  • Provide financial and HR insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate with other department heads to align financial and HR strategies with business objectives.
  • Oversee talent acquisition, recruitment, and onboarding processes to attract and retain top-tier talent.

Your Qualifications…

Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Human Resources, Business, or related field; Master’s degree or relevant certification preferred.

The role of the Head of Finance & HR  is a senior management position within the organisation working closely with the other 3 Heads of Department.

Although Head Officed in Liverpool we care about how the job is done, not necessarily where it is done! We are happy to explore all flexible and remote working practices that suit us both, but we still enjoy seeing our customers face to face from time to time so travel both in the UK and overseas maybe required.
